One of Biarritz oldest boutique hotels
Three years ago, while looking for premises to set up an interior design shop in the centre of Biarritz, the present owners fell in love with the Hotel de l’Océan. Inspired by the hotel’s setting in Place Sainte Eugénie, which offers a beautiful view of the sea and the possibility of a calm and pleasant terrace for a restaurant, they finally took up the challenge of renovating the boutique hotel in a very sober, simple and welcoming ‘French West Coast’ style. Over the years, the boutique hotel, its small interior design shop and 24 rooms have been gradually renovated to carry on the tradition of welcoming travellers that has lasted for over a century.
